Job description

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is looking for a friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic Golf & Leisure Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

As a Golf & Leisure Attendant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Golf Pro Shop and leisure facilities.

As part of our Golf Operations team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests and members, processing golf check-ins and bookings, and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Assisting with retail sales, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented Golf Pro Shop.
  • Providing knowledgeable advice on golf, membership, resort facilities, and local attractions.
  • Managing bookings for golf and tennis facilities.
  • Supporting daily golf operations, including competition administration, tee sheet management, and field marshalling to maintain pace of play.
  • Preparing and maintaining golf carts, rental equipment, practice facilities, and other golf assets.
  • Collecting, washing, and maintaining range balls, buckets, and equipment.
  • Assisting with general maintenance of golf operations areas, including the cart shed, course amenities, and surrounding facilities.
  • Completing opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and general Pro Shop administration.
  • Serving refreshments from the drinks cart when required.
  • Ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards are always maintained.
  • Maintaining guest privacy, confidentiality, and the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Supporting the team with other operational duties as required.

  • A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to work outdoors and undertake physical tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence learning booking systems.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, retail, golf operations, or customer service (highly regarded but not essential).
  • A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
