Job description
Industrial Electrician Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance & Repairs
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Respond to breakdowns and electrical failures to minimize downtime
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Equipment & System Support
- Service industrial machinery such as mixers, aggregate bins, and batch plants
- Access and repair electrical control panels, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights
- Use diagnostic tools like voltmeters and multimeters to identify issues
- Installation & Project Work
- Install new electrical systems, including conduits, control panels, and power distribution units
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Fabricate safety circuits and modify existing equipment as needed
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and company safety policies
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and upgrades
Schedule: 7AM -7PM rotating shift
