Job Opportunity: Google Ads Specialist
In house Position, (Paphos / Nicosia / Limassol)
Our Client, is seeking a talented and data-driven Google Ads Specialist to join its performance marketing team. This role is central to the Client's digital strategy, focusing on owning and optimizing paid search initiatives that fuel audience engagement, drive conversions, and deliver measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
The Google Ads Specialist will be at the heart of the Client's digital strategy, taking on the following responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Plan, build, own, and optimize scalable Google Search campaigns to deliver high-quality traffic and maximize ROI.
- Strategic Optimization: Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to uncover growth opportunities, while performing regular audits to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Creative & Testing: Write compelling ad copy to boost CTR and relevance, and run robust A/B tests on ads, landing pages, and other creative elements to continuously improve performance.
- Data & Technical Insights: Analyze campaign performance metrics, troubleshoot technical issues to ensure compliant campaign execution, and collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing efforts.
- Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of Google Ads updates, best practices, and emerging digital marketing trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should bring a blend of hands-on technical expertise and analytical insight:
- Experience & Education: Minimum of 1+ year of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (more experience is a strong advantage), backed by a BSc/MSc in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, Management, or a related field.
- Certifications & Platform Expertise: Strong familiarity with the Google Ads interface, reporting dashboards, and campaign setups. Google Ads Certifications (Search / Measurement) are a distinct plus.
- Analytics & Tracking: Proven experience with GTM, GA4 tracking, conversion measurement, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions (pivot tables, query formulas, macros).
- Advanced PPC Tooling: Knowledge of automation/bulk tools (Google Ads API, Ads Scripts, Ads Editor) and familiarity with PPC/SEO research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb) are highly advantageous.
- Campaign Diversity: Familiarity with broader campaign formats (Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Remarketing) alongside a solid understanding of CRO and landing page optimization principles.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, copywriting, and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an excellent command of English (additional languages are a plus).
