Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our client, a Start-Up Poultry Distribution Company. The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding the market presence within the poultry industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing organization in a key sector of the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives within assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new or existing customers/clients while actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to acquire new accounts.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our poultry product line, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Utilize insights to adapt sales strategies and product offerings accordingly.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and effectively negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable agreements with customers.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance metrics and provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and superior customer service.
  • Prospects customers/clients and produces sales through new and renewal order.
  • Manages the renewal process and ensures that customers/clients receive excellent goods and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in the food industry, preferably in poultry distribution or related segments. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the poultry industry, including market dynamics, distribution channels, and key players and has managed clients in the restaurant industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, negotiate effectively, and close deals. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
