Who is GATI?

We are a non-profit working at the frontier of ethical global skills and labour mobility — building corridors, standards, and institutions that connect Indian talent to the world. We work across central and state governments, industry, and international partners in Germany, Japan, Israel, Finland, and the EU. The following three roles strengthen our Partnerships team. About the role

We are hiring a Consultant on a one-year contract to own the concept, design, and systemic thinking behind international-level events in the global skills mobility space. This is not a logistics-only role — it is a design role. You will shape what our convenings stand for, who is in the room, and what they are meant to achieve, then bring them to life to a global standard.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end conceptualisation and design thinking for flagship convenings, summits, and roundtables on global skills mobility.
• Apply systems thinking to design events as part of a larger strategy — linking outcomes to our corridors, standards, and partnerships.
• Develop themes, formats, agendas, and speaker/stakeholder strategy for international audiences. Coordinate delivery with internal teams, partners, and vendors, holding the bar on quality and experience.
• Build repeatable frameworks and playbooks so each event raises the standard for the next.

What we're looking for

• A track record of conceptualising and delivering high-calibre events, ideally at international or institutional level.
• Strong design-thinking and systems-thinking ability — you start from intent and audience, not from a checklist.
• Comfort engaging senior government, industry, and international stakeholders. Self-direction suited to a one-year contractual engagement with clear ownership.
