Since 1998, business@school has been educational initiative Our mission is to equip high school students with practical business knowledge, essential skills for their future careers, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Each year, around 1,000 students from approximately 70 schools across Germany, Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom, Albania, and Switzerland take part in the program. They are supported throughout the school year by their teachers and around 450 volunteer coaches from BCG and more than 20 partner companies.

What You'll Do

As a Working Student, you’ll support the business@school team in planning, coordinating, and executing of a wide range of activities and event formats. You'll contribute to organizing events, support the b@s videochallenge, help create and manage content for our social media channels, and assist with producing and editing digital content, including short videos. You'll also help maintain our database, conduct research in the education sector, analyze surveys and media clippings, explore AI-powered tools available at BCG to support communication and day-to-day workflows, and aid the team in its day-to-day work.

What You'll Bring

  • You are a bachelor’s or master’s student (with at least two years of study remaining after your start date at BCG and no mandatory internships planned in the near future).
  • You are studying communications, public relations, marketing, media, event management, or a related field and have a strong interest in business and education.
  • You are confident using MS Office applications and have basic knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ideally, you have experience editing short videos for digital channels.
  • You have an interest in social media, digital communication, and current trends.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English, both verbally and in writing
  • You enjoy organizing projects and events and have a structured, detail-oriented way of working.
  • You have a good eye for detail and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • You are proactive, reliable, and enjoy taking ownership of your tasks.
  • You have a good sense of social media trends and digital communication.
  • You enjoy creating engaging content for different digital channels.
  • You communicate confidently and enjoy working collaboratively with different stakeholders.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the business@school team, working closely with colleagues in our Munich office. In your day-to-day work, you'll collaborate with team members across a wide range of projects and event formats, gaining insights into communications, event management, and educational initiatives. Our team culture is characterized by mutual support, open communication, and trust, and you’'ll receive the guidance and support you need from day one.
