As a DevOps SRE - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, secure IT systems that support business operations. You will focus on integrating development, operations, and security practices to validate secure, consistent, and efficient delivery of software and applications. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will bridge the gap between development, operations, and security teams for seamless and secure application and software development within our Advisory practice.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure-native services.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms and deployment automation frameworks.
- Implementing security infrastructure and managing security incidents to enhance system reliability
- Leading the design and implementation of secure IT systems to support business operations and minimize downtime
- Integrate security controls, secrets management, and compliance requirements into delivery pipelines
- Support AI model, prompt, and agent lifecycle management processes.
- Support Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, and Agentic AI application deployment pipelines.
- Managing client service accounts and driving engagement workstreams by supervising teams
- Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage innovation
- Collaborating with leadership to maintain quality and meet client expectations
- Promoting the use of cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools to improve service delivery
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including security and compliance requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments.
- Utilizing Ansible and Terraform for efficient infrastructure management
- Excelling in security incident management and remediation strategies
- Exposure to AI/GenAI application deployment and operations.
- Implementing continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and automation best practices.
- Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps delivery models.
