Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cash 4 Cars Sales Associate to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for purchasing vehicles directly from customers, evaluating vehicle conditions, negotiating offers, and ensuring a smooth and positive selling experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships, negotiating deals, and working in a fast-paced sales environment. Previous automotive buying or appraisal experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with customers interested in selling their vehicles to the dealership.
- Conduct vehicle walkarounds and gather information regarding vehicle condition, history, and ownership.
- Present and negotiate competitive purchase offers based on dealership guidelines and market conditions.
- Explain the vehicle selling process and answer customer questions professionally.
- Complete required paperwork and ensure accurate documentation for vehicle purchases.
- Follow up with leads generated through online inquiries, phone calls, and dealership marketing efforts.
- Build rapport with customers and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the transaction.
- Work closely with management and inventory teams to acquire quality pre-owned vehicles.
- Meet or exceed monthly acquisition and performance goals.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and state regulations regarding vehicle purchases and title processing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous sales, customer service, retail, or automotive experience preferred.
- Vehicle buying, appraisal, or automotive acquisition experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build trust and establish relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of used vehicle values and market trends.
- Experience with vehicle appraisals and trade evaluations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
