As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol professional in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry to designated areas.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and report potential issues involving facilities, equipment, or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
Minimum Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
