Contract Details

- Location: Belgium (Hybrid – remote work available)
- Workload: Full-time (100%)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic infrastructure and software development programs within a large public-sector digital transformation environment.
The role focuses on managing complex IT initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders, ensuring successful program delivery, and supporting the development of a large-scale web platform used by citizens and professional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex infrastructure and software development programs.
- Coordinate multiple projects within a broader program roadmap.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, planning, and reporting.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Apply Agile delivery practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, user stories, process models, and project metrics.
- Facilitate backlog management, story mapping, Kanban boards, and Agile ceremonies.
- Create mock-ups to support functional analysis and solution design.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and program governance.
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and/or software development projects.
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager leading infrastructure or development programs.
- 10+ years of experience as a Business/Functional Analyst.
- Proven experience working within the public sector .
- Proven experience within the waste management/environmental sector .
- 8+ years of Agile project delivery experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure .
- Experience with EazyBI .
- Minimum 6 years of experience creating mock-ups.
- Native-level Dutch ( CEFR C2 ) is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK .
- Knowledge of ITIL .
- Experience with program management methodologies such as MSP , Agile, or Scrum.
