Sales Director (UAE) – Head of Sales / Commercial Director
Our client is a leading provider in the field of interiors, retail furniture, and luxury market fit-outs. They specialize in delivering high-quality commercial workspaces and retail fit-out solutions with a focus on luxury and value.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead the entire commercial function of the business across all divisions, including retail experiences, luxury fit-out, signage, visual merchandising, and events.
The role is responsible for driving overall revenue growth, building and managing the sales team (BDMs), and securing high-value contracts across government, corporate, retail, and luxury brand clients in the UAE.
Business Scope (All Divisions)
The Sales Director will oversee revenue generation across
- Retail displays, visual merchandising, and brand environments
- Interior fit-out and luxury fit-out projects
- Signage solutions (indoor, outdoor, branding, wayfinding)
- Window displays, gondolas, podiums, and retail fixtures
- Pop-up retail activations and experiential environments
- Corporate events and government activations
- Exhibition stands and trade show projects
Responsibilities
- Lead overall sales strategy and commercial growth across all divisions
- Manage, mentor, and drive performance of Business Development Managers
- Set and achieve revenue targets, KPIs, and growth plans
- Personally drive and close high-value strategic accounts
- Build relationships with government entities, developers, retail brands, and corporate clients
- Oversee pipeline, forecasting, and CRM discipline across the sales team
- Develop long-term client partnerships and framework agreements
- Work closely with operations, production, and project teams to ensure delivery alignment
- Represent the company at senior-level client meetings and industry events
Requirements
- Proven Sales Director / Head of Sales experience in UAE
- Strong background across interiors, retail fit-out, signage, or events (multi-sector advantage)
- Experience managing and scaling sales teams (BDMs)
- Strong network across government, developers, retail, and corporate clients
- Proven track record of multi-million AED contract wins
- Strong leadership, commercial strategy, and negotiation skills
- Arabic speaker preferred (strong advantage)
