Relationship Manager – Private Wealth Management

Our client is a DFSA-regulated wealth management and investment advisory firm based in DIFC, dedicated to helping High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and institutions preserve, grow, and transfer wealth across generations.

Through bespoke investment advisory, portfolio management, and financial planning solutions, they deliver sophisticated strategies tailored to each client's long-term objectives.

They are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager with an established client book, strong business development capabilities, and a proven track record within a regulated wealth management environment.

Role Overview

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients across the UAE and international markets. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions while developing long-term client relationships built on trust, professionalism, and exceptional service.

This role is ideal for an experienced private banker or wealth advisor with an existing transferable client book and a strong understanding of investment advisory, portfolio management, and DFSA regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Develop deep, long-term relationships by understanding clients' financial objectives, investment preferences, and succession planning needs.
  • Deliver tailored investment and wealth management solutions aligned with clients' risk profiles and financial goals.
  • Maintain regular engagement with clients through portfolio reviews, market updates, and strategic planning discussions.

Business Development

  • Leverage your existing professional network to acquire new HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Grow Assets Under Management (AUM) through new client acquisition and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across investment products and wealth management solutions.
  • Represent the firm at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.

Investment Advisory

  • Provide investment recommendations across multiple asset classes in accordance with the firm's investment philosophy and regulatory framework.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on financial markets, investment products, and funds.
  • Monitor portfolios and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and client objectives.

Client Service & Stakeholder Management

  • Deliver exceptional client service with timely responses and proactive communication.
  • Coordinate with internal investment, compliance, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless client servicing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and ambassador for the firm, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with DFSA regulations, internal policies, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records, suitability assessments, and regulatory documentation.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, or Financial Services.
  • Current or recent experience within a DFSA or ADGM regulated wealth management firm is essential.
  • Proven experience managing portfolios of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and relationship management within the private wealth sector.
  • Experience managing both local and international client relationships across multiple jurisdictions.

Assets Under Management (AUM)

  • Candidates should have an existing transferable client book with a minimum AUM of AED 25 million.
  • Strong track record of acquiring, growing, and retaining client assets.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP, CISI, or equivalent are highly desirable.
