Area Sales Manager
Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for communicating volume forecasts and leading the execution of business plans to deliver them.
- Works frequently with the section manager & sales reps (at all levels of the trade) to understand customer systems/needs and develops effective approaches that exploit these systems for better business results.
- Takes a proactive leadership role in selling to customers, anticipating, and resolving emerging problems.
- Provides timely and accurate communication between field, distribution, and accounting.
- Works with his counterparts (at the distributor) to develop more efficient systems (invoicing, data systems, HR issues, etc.)
- Manages all budgets and allocations.
- Commits 70% fieldwork to master all the job activities and priorities.
- Responsible for creating a unit structure that leads to the best productivity results.
- Ensures the right coverage for every trade channel.
- Analyze the unit results and action plans and update management with progress through a monthly letter.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant degree.
- Experience in Area Sales Management in a similar position
- FMCG experience preferred
