What you´ll do

  • Lead the development and commercialization of innovative semiconductor adhesive products by conceiving new technical approaches, designing sound experiments, and developing advanced materials, generate intellectual property for electronic applications.
  • Design, formulate, execute, and document laboratory studies, analyze experimental data, draw conclusions, provide recommendations to drive product development and performance improvements, technical reports for internal stakeholder, customers and conferences.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams, including product development, project management, application engineering, process engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, sourcing, and production to ensure successful product commercialization and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support to customers throughout the product lifecycle, investigate performance issues, analyze field results, and implement solutions based on customer feedback and business needs.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by identifying root causes, overcoming technical challenges, evaluating alternatives, and developing effective solutions to complex engineering and product issues.
  • Support manufacturing operations and scale-up activities to ensure consistent product quality, reliable production processes, and successful product launches.
  • Perform all laboratory and product development activities in compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including PPE, 5S practices, and corporate safety policies.

What makes you a good fit

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5+ years of product development experience in an industrial, research, or academic environment.
  • Strong technical background in one or more of the following areas: thermoset materials, adhesive formulations, surface and filler technologies, electronic materials, and semiconductor packaging processes.
  • Hands-on experience working in a chemical laboratory environment with demonstrated proficiency in laboratory techniques, equipment, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of innovation, including the ability to develop new technologies, generate creative solutions, and drive product development initiatives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 and $96,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
