Join our team and lead marketing strategies that connect more students, families, and communities to opportunities, providing the support they need to thrive. We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager who can roll up their sleeves and be hands-on without losing track of the strategic vision.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Campaigns: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and program participation. Lead campaigns from ideation through execution and implementation.
Digital & Social Media: Lead social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Monitor and evaluate online media campaigns to keep them fresh, effective, and optimized for ROI.
Analytics & Performance: Analyze digital performance metrics and provide insights to improve reach and conversion. Track, analyze, and report on key metrics.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work with other department heads and staff to discuss plans and marketing strategies. Collaborate with finance staff to set and stay within budget. Direct the hiring of marketing/promotions agencies as needed and supervise their work.
Innovation: Stay current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing landscape.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. Total industry experience of 10+ years, including 3-5 years of digital marketing experience. Experience in the nonprofit or education sector is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Experience in digital marketing, social media, and advertising. Proficient with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, email automation platforms, and CMS systems. Deep understanding of website metrics, SEO, lead generation, and email marketing.
Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with colleagues at all levels to develop marketing goals and evaluate results.
Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving, time-management, and decision-making skills. Deep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles. Ability to develop strategic marketing campaigns.
Flexibility & Culture Fit: Experience and flexibility to work virtually with stakeholders in US time zones. High degree of empathy for others' perspectives and circumstances.
