BUSINESS UNIT
BPATech provides a platform for our corporate customers to automate the accommodation workflows of Insurance claimants, Crews and Project Teams. It connects both to customer and the internal HRS systems to heavily drive process automation. The BPA platform is offered as SaaS and built upon a modern tech stack (Dotnet, React, Azure, Kubernetes, SOA).
CHALLENGE
- Test Automation & Execution: Build, extend, and maintain test automation suites across UI, API, integration, and E2E layers (Playwright + TypeScript; C#/.NET for API/integration), integrated into CI/CD for fast, reliable feedback across BPATech products.
- AI-Assisted Quality Engineering: Extend the team's AI test-generation capability — generating test cases and test data, detecting regressions, analyzing coverage — while exercising disciplined human review.
- AI-Enhanced Development Practice: Use AI-assisted workflows in daily engineering tasks — test design, implementation, debugging, and documentation — critically reviewing and validating AI-generated output for correctness.
- Production Code Contribution: Contribute to production features as part of the development team — writing code, participating in code reviews, and supporting deployments.
- Performance Testing: Execute load scenarios, collect metrics, and help identify performance regressions and bottlenecks on high-volume accommodation flows.
- Security Testing: Integrate security testing into automation suites — authentication, authorization, input validation, and common vulnerability checks (OWASP Top 10) — critical for contract, quota, price and tax data.
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH
- Relevant experience: 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with a meaningful focus on quality engineering, test automation, and product delivery.
- Automation proficiency: Solid working proficiency in TypeScript (ideally also C#/.NET), with the ability to write production-quality test code and contribute to shared test frameworks.
- Framework depth: Demonstrated experience building and maintaining test automation across UI, API, and E2E layers with Playwright (or similar), integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Performance testing: Exposure to or participation in performance testing — executing load tests, gathering metrics, and reporting findings.
- AI-assisted workflows: Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows in testing and development (GenAI for test generation, debugging, documentation); experience extending or building AI test tooling is a strong plus.
- AI-first mindset: Approaches every task by asking whether it can be completed with AI or significantly improved through AI, then applies the right level of human review, validation, and control.
- Communication: Good communication skills and fluency in English to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
- Educational background: A BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
