Job description

An exciting opportunity exists to join KordaMentha Implementation Services as a Quality Assurance Manager – Financial Crime. You will be part of the KordaMentha team that offers flexible, AML/CTF specialised resources via a co-sourced model or Managed Service.  Our team members undertake agreed AML/CTF operational activities on behalf of our clients.

Reporting to the Partner, you will be responsible for managing Quality Assurance to ensure Implementation Services analysts are effectively following client processes, policies, and standards. You will identify and drive process improvements, to ensure risk if minimised and high-quality customer service is maintained.

Key tasks:

  • Lead and evolve the Quality Assurance framework across AML/CTF operational services.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, controls and service delivery.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Quality Assurance Analysts.
  • Deliver training and quality insights that build capability across the business.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to enhance quality outcomes and manage risk.
  • Provide reporting, governance oversight and support business development initiatives.

We are looking for people with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in either Business, Commerce, Financial Services, Accounting, Law, or relevant discipline is preferred or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in AML/CTF.
  • 3+ years in a Quality Assurance and/or Training role.
  • 3+ years in an AML Operations role.
  • Strong understanding, knowledge, and application of AML/CTF regulations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, delivering to multiple stakeholders.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Personal commitment to and visible role modelling of the organisation’s behaviours and values.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities with demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders through effective communication (verbal and written).
  • Passionate about AML/CTF.
  • Passion for developing and coaching analysts.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
