Hotel Bartender
Job description
Join our team as a Hotel Bartender at Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area, located in Somerville, MA. In this role, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests by expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and inventory management.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age of guests.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Requirements
- Minimum of (2) years of bartender experience preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- TIPS Certification preferred.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Available part-time/on-call.
Benefits
- Pay ranging from $10.00 to $19.00 per hour, (base wage plus estimated tips for scheduled shifts) paid bi-weekly. Tip earnings vary by shift; maximum reflects typical high-earning days for the scheduled shifts.
