About Role:
As a member of our clinical team at Cairns Private Hospital you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients within Cardiology.
You will report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager and may be required to act in the role from time to time.
You will be jointly responsible for ongoing quality and educational programs within the unit and will be required to present these to the members of staff.
About You:
You will be a registered nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
Cardiology nurse experience with greater than 2 years' experience with cardiac nursing including interventional, rhythm management and medical cardiology.
Previous leadership experience desirable but not essential
Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses)
Medication endorsed (IV qualified)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster
Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

Additional Information
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
