About the role

We're looking for a Senior Tech Lead Manager - Finance to lead the engineering organisation behind one of seQura's most business-critical capabilities.

As seQura continues to grow across markets, products, and transaction volumes, Finance can no longer rely on disconnected systems and manual processes. Our ambition is to build a modern Finance Technology platform that enables Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Finance to operate in real time.

You'll lead a team of ten engineers responsible for the systems, integrations, and data infrastructure that move money, power financial reporting, and support every major financial decision across the company.

This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the CTO and CFO. You'll be the technical voice within Finance leadership, translating business priorities into engineering execution while ensuring the platform continues to scale with the business.

Team Structure

You'll lead a team of ten engineers and partner closely with Finance leadership across Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Finance.

Reporting directly to both the CTO and CFO, you'll operate at the intersection of Engineering and Finance, ensuring technology strategy and business priorities remain closely aligned.

Tech environment

The Finance Tech organisation builds and operates the systems that support Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Finance across seQura.

The team works across ERP platforms, banking integrations, internal business systems, financial data infrastructure, and reporting platforms, building reliable technology that enables Finance to operate efficiently as the business continues to scale.

What challenges you'll be solving

Lead, manage, mentor, and grow a team of ten engineers across the Finance technology stack.

Organise the team's structure, priorities, and ways of working while maintaining a high technical bar.

Own the architecture and evolution of the systems supporting Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Finance.

Lead integrations between NetSuite, banking partners, internal platforms, and downstream reporting systems.

Build the data pipelines and tooling that enable Finance to operate in near real time.

Partner closely with Finance leadership to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical delivery plans.

Maintain visibility across Finance Tech priorities, ensuring stakeholders understand what is being delivered, what comes next, and the trade-offs behind prioritisation decisions.

Establish a predictable delivery cadence with clear progress tracking and transparent communication.

Drive automation across both Finance processes and Engineering workflows, leveraging AI as part of the team's everyday toolkit.

Ensure the Finance technology stack remains reliable, secure, auditable, and capable of supporting the company's continued growth.

Make pragmatic buy-versus-build decisions that maximise long-term value for the business.

What we are looking for

Significant experience leading engineering teams, ideally of a similar size or larger.

Strong technical background with hands-on experience building, shipping, and operating production systems at scale.

Deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and data platforms.

Ability to lead architecture discussions while maintaining technical credibility with senior engineers.

Strong organisational and execution skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, communicate progress transparently, and deliver on commitments.

Experience translating business needs into clear engineering roadmaps and delivery plans.

Comfortable partnering with Finance leadership across Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Strategic Finance.

AI-first mindset, using AI tools as a natural part of your own work and encouraging your team to do the same.

High agency and ownership. You proactively identify problems, build roadmaps, and drive execution without waiting for direction.

Builder mentality. You see Finance Technology as a function that enables the business rather than acting as a gatekeeper.

Experience with Finance systems, ERP platforms (NetSuite is a strong plus), modern data infrastructure, cloud platforms, and integration tooling is highly valued.

Fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
