Job description
- Monitor portfolio holdings, cash positions, transactions, accrued income, and compliance with investment limits
- Track portfolio performance, yield, return dynamics, and mark-to-market movements
- Monitor risk metrics including duration, maturity profile, credit quality, sector/issuer concentration, and currency exposure
- Support NAV-related analysis and reconciliation with custodian/bank and broker reports
- Analyze issuer/borrower financial statements, ratios, debt structure, and business profile to support credit research
- Assist in preparing investment memos, credit opinions, and issuer/borrower updates
- Monitor market trends, rating actions, and news relevant to portfolio holdings
- Support ad hoc analysis for portfolio construction, liquidity planning, redemptions, and rebalancing
Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in asset management supported by solid analytical and financial skills. The successful candidate should possess strong financial analysis and valuation skills, logical thinking, and the ability to evaluate investment opportunities in a structured and practical manner.
Specific qualifications/Skills include:
- 1–3 years of experience in investment analysis, banking, brokerage, treasury, corporate finance, capital markets, audit or a related financial analysis role.
- Familiarity with bonds, credit products, loan portfolios or investment funds.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; solid understanding of financial statements
- Interest in fixed income, credit analysis and portfolio management
- Advanced Excel skills
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Bloomberg would be considered an advantage.
- CFA certification or progress toward CFA designation will be considered a significant advantage.
