Our client, a 5* luxury lifestyle resort located in the cosmopolitan hub of Bali that attracts guests seeking both excitement and relaxation, is actively seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR operations, foster a high-performing team culture, and support the property's continued growth through strategic people initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial position for luxury 5* properties in Bali or Indonesia.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources best practices, Indonesian labour laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience across recruitment, employee relations, training & development, performance management, and HR operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company policies.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, including workforce planning, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and induction programs.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by managing employee relations, resolving grievances, and ensuring the fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Identify organizational training needs and implement learning, development, career progression, and succession planning initiatives.
- Manage the performance management cycle, including performance appraisals, KPI implementation, and performance improvement plans.
- Oversee payroll administration in collaboration with the Finance team, while ensuring accurate employee records, attendance, leave, benefits, and expatriate work permit documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor regulations, company policies, and HR governance while maintaining up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and organizational culture.
- Support workplace health, safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives in line with legal and company standards.
- Partner closely with department heads and senior management to provide strategic HR advice, support operational requirements, and contribute to business planning and organizational development.
