G69 - Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable back-end services using Node.js.
• Design, optimise, and maintain MySQL databases.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs between frontend and backend services.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and other Software Engineers throughout the SDLC.
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement bug fixes and performance improvements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
• Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing modern full-stack web applications.

Mandatory technical skills

• React

• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker or containerisation technologies.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to CRM, CMS, or citizen-facing digital products.
