Purchasing Specialist (Mandarin Speaker)

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a sustainable supply of raw materials and competitive pricing.
- Conduct market, trend, and availability analyses to identify profitable purchasing opportunities.
- Draft and negotiate purchase contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Manage the ordering and delivery process, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the production team to plan raw material requirements and effectively adjust purchasing strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency, and inventory optimization.
- Maintain a database of suppliers, inventory, and other related data.
Competencies & Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, with excellent communication skills. Minimum HSK 5.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics procurement role.
- Deep understanding of best practices in supply chain management, including negotiation strategies, market analysis, and inventory optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with a focus on priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of procurement-related systems and technologies, such as ERP and analytics tools.
