TEAL- Design Engineer

Job Requirements

• Design, create, and document battery production machinery
• Generate mechanical sketches, BOMs, technical guides, operational protocols, and upkeep manuals
• Rework mechanical structures and electrical systems for regional production and procurement
• Establish and update 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing blueprints (SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor)
• Generate and assess electrical diagrams, control panel arrangements, and wiring harness designs
• Conduct reverse engineering of imported machinery
• Coordinate with procurement to approve local suppliers for crucial components
• Assist FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)
• Interact with clients and production floor teams to enhance and perfect products
• Record design modifications and manage version-controlled engineering documents

Work Experience

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent CAD tools
• Experience with PLC/HMI systems and electrical panel design is a strong plus
• Exposure to battery manufacturing equipment (winding, stacking, laser welding, formation) preferred
• Past experience of working with China/ Korea/ Japan ecosystem is a plus.
