Project Manager (Energy Market & Finance)

Location: Melle, Belgium (Hybrid)

Start Date: 21 September 2026

Duration: 24 months (extension possible for 12 months)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic transformation initiatives within the energy sector, with a strong focus on finance and market operations. The role involves coordinating cross-functional projects that introduce new capabilities and optimize existing business processes to support the energy transition.

You will manage project activities across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of new processes and integrated application solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Manage stakeholders, project planning, execution, and governance.
• Drive change management and communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Coordinate the design, implementation, and testing of solutions involving multiple integrated systems.
• Support the implementation of future energy tariff methodologies.
• Ensure successful collaboration between business and technical teams.
• Contribute to initiatives related to energy market processes, including Measure, Allocation, and Billing.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading and managing complex projects.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in change management and stakeholder communication.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with design and testing of implementations involving integrations across multiple systems.
• Minimum 7 years' experience with tariff methodologies within the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 , PMBOK , or equivalent.
• Experience working within energy market operations.
• Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2) is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electricity distribution network tariff methodologies.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with SAP CRM, SAP IS-U, and SAP SD .
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of Measure, Allocation, and Billing processes is highly desirable.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid working model with the possibility of remote work, subject to project and team requirements.
• Occasional travel to other office locations may be required.

Contract Details

• Full-time assignment.
• Initial duration of 24 months .
• Possible extension of up to 12 months .
