Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting - Night Shift

THIS ROLE
The primary technical expert responsible for ensuring excellence in complex fund accounting services through expertise and final review authority. This role serves as the ultimate subject matter expert for the team on complex accounting matters, leading technical decisions and process innovations while providing authoritative guidance on sophisticated client portfolios and advanced accounting modules.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You’ll serve as the team’s technical authority for complex accounting matters, providing expert guidance and final review of sophisticated accounting deliverables.
- You’ll drive technical excellence and innovation by developing accounting standards, methodologies, and best practices while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- You’ll act as the primary technical expert for client-specific matters across fund segments, including BOLT On, PE Advanced, and related products and services.
- You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to address technical queries, resolve complex issues, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality client outcomes.
- You’ll support the technical development of team members through client-specific training, coaching, and feedback, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.

ABOUT YOU
- You are a CPA (or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and at least 6 years of experience, including 4 years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit focused on complex portfolios and advanced accounting modules.
- You have proven expertise in technical accounting, including the final review and sign-off of complex financial reports, with comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- You are skilled in developing and approving technical standards, methodologies, and SOPs, driving process innovation, managing compliance cases, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- You have strong experience in resolving complex client issues, ensuring adherence to client agreements, managing workload allocation, and ensuring the timely resolution of review comments and queries.
- You are a proactive and detail-oriented leader with excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills, capable of developing team members, maintaining technical excellence, and driving continuous improvement.
